"The Powerhouse"

King Penguins congregate by the powerhouse at the abandoned whaling station of Grytviken, South Georgia Island. Grytviken was the last port the British ship Endurance called at before it was trapped in the ice in 1915. Sir Earnest Shackleton and his crew of 27 men were forced to abandon the ship when it was crushed by ice. They spent 15 months camping on the ice pack.
